Greece Itinerary

Day 1

Athens - Corinth Canal Crossing - Galaxidi 

The Corinth Canal unites the Saronic Gulf with the Corinth Gulf. 4 miles long and 70ft wide, relax and enjoy this unusual and fascinating sail to Galaxidi.

Day 2

Galaxidi - Zakinthos

Galaxidi was historically a ship building town until it was destroyed in the war in 1821.  Located at the end of a fjord, it has lovely taverns, beaches and boat yards. 

Day 3

Zakinthos - Kefalonia

The emerald sea, pine covered mountains and hospitable people make this island unforgettable.  A luxury coach will take you on a tour of the island at 10am and then you will visit the famous Blue Caves in Skinari. Inside the caves the refraction of the suns rays on the water creates magical blue and silver tones.  The endangered Loggerhead turtle lays her eggs on the beaches of Zakinthos. 

Day 4

Kefalonia -Ithaki

The largest of the Ionian Islands, Kefalonia has an excellent road network so exploring the olive and orange groves, steep cliffs, lush hillsides and picturesque secluded villages.   You can explore Katavothres, a rare geological phenomenon and famous castle in Assos.

Day 5

Ithaki - Kastos - Ithaki

Unspoilt and undiscovered, Kastos is one of the most idyllic of the Ionian Islands.

Day 6

Ithaki - Lefkas

Ithaki is known for being the home of Odysseys.  Homer's hero wandered for years before returning to his island kingdom but it never left his mind for a moment and we think you will see why.  Its very quiet with beautiful beaches and caves waiting to be explored.

Day 7

Lefkas - Antipaxi - Paxi

Lefkada is a mountainous island covered with dense vegetation, its eastern coast slopes gently down to the sea, to stunning beaches sheltered from the wind.

Day 8

Paxi - Corfu

inhabited by almost 120 people Antipaxi is a quiet paradise with incredible beaches and clear blue waters.  Paxi is the smallest of the six main Ionian islands, you will go ashore at Gaios and discover an exquisite port.

Day 9

Corfu - Parga

Corfu is cosmopolitan and has a full night life.  Here you will be able to enjoy relaxation or let your hair down.   There is a lot to explore for the energetic.

Day 10

Parga - Preveza

Parga is a seaside town with great snorkelling.  The city is built in remains of a Venetian castle with gorgeous views of winding streets and evergreen islets.   

Day 11

Preveza - Nidri - Scorpios - Meganisi

Skorpios is owned by billionaire Onassis so you can't visit but you will sail around it. Meganisi is one of the most hospitable islands with three villages all with welcoming seaside tavernas. 

Day 12

Meganisi - Nafpaktos

Nafpaktos is famous for the battle in 1571 and is home to a resplendent castle with a circular walled harbour. The town is definitely worth exploring.

Day 13

Nafpaktos - Trizonia

Trizonia is the largest and the only inhabited island of the Corinthian gulf.  A truly inspiring place and a perfect place to relax.

Day 14

Trizonia - Epidavros

The theatre of Epidavros is the most famous and the best preserved of ancient theatres in Greece.  Attending a performance if ancient drama in this theatre is a mystical experience. Never to be forgotten!

Day 15

Epidavros - Athens

The blue water crossing to Athens is exhilarating. One of the worlds oldest cities, Greece's majestic capital is steeped in fascinating history.
